The surgery is open to the public Monday to Friday 8.00am to 6.30pm
The telephone lines are open from 8.00am to 6.30pm
We also offer soe extended surgery times. Please contact the surgery for details of our extended hours clinics.
EMERGENCY CALLS
For emergency calls at any time phone 958 2537. Whenever the surgery is
closed, including bank holidays and weekends, a recorded message will give the phone number at which the duty
doctor can be reached. Please do call at night if there is a genuine emergency, but if the problem can wait until
after 8.00am, this is preferable.
This practice population is covered by the Westcall out-of-hours
service. This service operates from 6.30pm to 8.00am Monday to Thursday and from 6.30pm Friday to 8.00am Monday, as
well as on bank holidays.
The doctor on duty will either:
- advise you over the phone
- ask you to attend at the Primary Care Centre, which is based in the maternity unit of the Royal Berks Hospital
- or for those who are too ill to travel, arrange for a doctor to do a home visit.
DISABLED ACCESS
All the clinical rooms and patient toilet facilities are on the
ground floor, enabling access for the disabled.
